Gay/Lesbian Scene in Goa
Any idea about this scene in Goa? I am a UK traveler currently in India and was told that Goa was pretty groundbreaking/revolutionary with this scene as compared to the rest of India due to the high concentration of Western population and influences. In the UK, well in London at least, the only thing we know about Goa's queer scene is the flummox of gay weddings that have begun - no doubt legally invalid - ever since the 2004 wedding of Kabir Ahmed and Sonam Lamba, Indian socialites who had the first celebrity wedding. Another designer did it too. Not that it may help, but would anyone know how to contact these people so that my trip there would be a little more fruitful. Again, this is not one of those posts where Im looking to 'hook up' but rather to visit the community in Goa and party, have fun. ANyone with resources or hot spots, do pm me . Thanks!
