Smile First Goa Trip.. need help abt accomadation..

hey guys!

i'm planning to stay in goa in the months of august and september(this year), since i have a lotta free time on my hands. i'v never been to goa so i'd thought it'd be a gr8 place to start a long vacation.

my question is - is there a place somewhr in the Anjuna beach area(or close-by) where i could stay for 2 months? i'll be going alone. A place where the rent is very reasonable for two months? oh..ya i want to rent a place..someplace small would be fine too..

I decided Anjuna coz well thats whr my friends go usually wen they go to Goa. I have no clue abt the places in Goa. So feel free to suggest some other good places.

Please. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanx.

Hi Arjun,

Thats quite right as Patti said.... Anjuna is very calm and quiet as compared to Calangute. You would find a good market place, a number of restaurants and good adventure sports there at calangute (not sure if they're still on). It's off season right now, so it wont be much crowded as well. you can get the rent bargained to a hell lot. The prices would double post september. you may even want to rent off in Baga, very much near calangute.

If you like, you may take up a bike or a honda activa on rent. If you take it up for a long time like a month or two, you get it at a very cheap rate (approx. 80-120 per day) depends you know.

If you're so keen on staying at anjuna, you can always stay there for a week or two at the end of your holiday. as it would be september and crowd would just start coming in. but it would still be less.. Enjoy your Holiday.

Cheers !!!

hey guys!! thanx for the replies..

ok u've convinced me! i think i'll try to find a place in calangute or baga. but wat abt rent?? how much do u think it will cost me? could u tell me how much, on an average, the rents would for two months? that would be a big help..

i knw ppl dont go to Goa when its quite; espescially the anjuna area... But i'd kinda like a quite vacation in the beginning.

thanx again for the replies..
