All over.
Ex-pats seem to congregate according to their interests.

Those who like drinking alcohol, bars and beaches go to Calangute and Candolim. Those who like yoga go to Anjuna. Those who like the party scene go to Vagator. Junkies go to Chapora or Arambol. There's a good bridge-playing scene in Panjim. And there is a good cinema in Panjim.

Then there are those who wouldn't be seen near another ex-pat for all the tea in China, and end up off the coastal belt, while others like the new apartments at Miramar or Santa Paula.

All very roughly speaking, of course, but you get my drift.

It all depends what your interests are, and what you want to do.

(We are in Assagao, away from the madding crowd, near to the yoga and near-enough to the interesting people without them being in our pockets.)

Yes, well, I was being a tad sardonic.
But you get my drift.

I mean, asking where all the expats go?
As far as I know, there ain't an expat community as such - they are all pretty well integrated / distributed throughout Goa.

You can take Vagator off the party list since the police have been busting up beach parties due to local pressure.
