Dudhsagar Falls - Goa

Can anyone give any information about any lodging facilities near Dudhsagar Falls near Goa.

How much time it takes to reach there from Goa. Are there are any bus or train service nearby?

Dear Bhaswaran,

When I travelled by 7228 Express from Londa to Kachiguda, I did not find any habitation in and around Dudhsagar water Falls. These falls are located adjacent to the Railway Track on the edge of a Hill which in turn is in the midst of a thick forest.

There used to be a Halt Station near Dudhsagar Water Falls but now, this "halt" is withdrawn, which means, officially a journey ticket will not be issued to Dudhasagarwater Falls.

But Dudhsagar Water falls is a Break Testing Halt for all the trains coming from Castle Rock and proceeding to Kulem including freight trains. Since this is a "Crossing Station" some Railway Staff will also be there.
