Hi All,
I'll be staying in Fort Aguada for nearly a week. Are there shops around here which will be able to transfer snaps from my digital camera memory card onto a CD/DVD?
This will save me from having to buy extra memory cards for my camera.
(NB I don't want any prints printed off onto paper, just transferred from memory card to CD/DVD, so I can delete the images from the memory card, and can then take more pics. I'll print off the pics from the CD/DVD once I'm back in the UK.)

Are they reliable, and what price can I expect to pay?

It usually costs Rs50 per CD or per card depending on the place and please check all the pictures on the CD before you delete the images from the card as sometimes you may get some of the images corrupted when transferring them to the CD. Also ask them to keep them at the highest resolution for better reproduction later on when printing or else you will be stuck with low resolution pics which can not be enlarged at all.

Usually most digital photo shops will do it or even simple cyber cafés would also do it directly from your camera stick or card. Sometimes they may ask you to leave the camera along with the card if they do not have a card reader but mostly it is not required. And if they ask you to leave it then ask them to do it in front of you or try another place!!!

Oh you'll find a whole selection of places willing to do it, You'l be spoilt for choice, Just go with whoever looks the most professional to you.

As for price, As you're staying at Aguada Fort the cost will seem like small change,,,,,,,,,,,
