I went to Goa for the first time in Jan 2006. We started off in the North (Mandrem), and while we were there, we rented a couple of mopeds. One day we went off the beaten track (somewhere in the Mandrem-ish area), and found the most incredible Bali-style little hotel, nestled between sand-dunes and trees. It was run by a couple - she was French, ex-Editor of some huge French fashion mag, and he came from a similar background. You entered through an enormous solid dark-wood door, and came into the most incredible serene, beautiful small retreat. I think there were only 4 or 5 'rooms', each with amazing sunken baths/beds. I'm desperately trying to remember where exactly this place was, and what it was called. I'm going back to Goa (via Mumbia for a day or two this time), and would love to go back and find it, preferably to stay there for a couple of days. Has anyone heard of this place?? Can anyone help me find it?? Yours in anticipation...
