Cozy Nook isn't in a secluded area aholic, no one can really say that these days as Palolem is overrun with camps coco huts and huts.
By all accounts it is one of the better places to stay though. Try here for the Cocohut address, Cocohuts I meant to pass this on the other day, I believe this place got a postive write up from an IM member a few weeks back!! Sorry I can't be of more help as even though I spend a lot of time in Palolem I never stay in huts, not really my scene for 2-3 months and a lot more than I'm willing to pay! Anyway I hope this helps Aholic |

GOA 2008 Christmas
Hi ,
Went to Goa this Christmas. The situation is pretty tense and a lot of security all around. Parties on the beach are controlled and unlike previous years this time business is low. However as a general view rates which are generally Rs 400 -600 for coco huts during off season were charged at the rate Rs 800 - Rs 1000 during Christmas and New Year. A little bit of bargaining is also useful if you are planning to stay for a few days at a stretch. I have a list of contact numbers on my blog at http://snehansu-love2travel.blogspot...-paradise.html Check the contact numbers and a few reviews from my personal experience. You can download a whole list of contact telephone numbers at the end. I stayed at Tony Cottages this year which had attached bathrooms which was not very good. But last year I had stayed at Blue Nile Cootages who had shared bathrooms , but the cottages were better. But the people are very friendly and you will enjoy. Check out Agonda Beach. It has new coco huts and Dersy Beach huts were quite cool . The crowd was very less. Morjim beach had Sant Anton huts which were excellent. But the sea was a bit violent. All in all Palolem is the best because the sea is calm , food is cheap and excellent. They were even offering discounts , free coctails also in Draupadi restaurant, Sameer Restaurant etc. Finally there are a lot of huts to choose from.
