Christmas Day In Goa

im interseted in what you guys do in goa on chrismas day.ive been there for christmas twice already and am going this year too.we stay with an indian family in anjuna and have a great time just eating their chrismas specials and the lovely indian sweets that are made all over the state.the hospitality of these people is amazing they are just happy to be together with their family and friends its great to escape the rat race. does anyone else want to share their goa xmas experiences and tell us wha you do????

hi, we are thinking of travelling to goa from mumbai around 23rd dec., that's if we can find somewhere to stay. this is my first time in india (and in this forum too) and as I am travelling with my 2 daughters i hope it's going to be a success. you say that you have been there for christmas before, how is it? we'd love to have any useful information. do you stay with a family and how did you find this accomodation. is it poss. to book from uk?
(sorry about all the questions, but 'm trying to get organised and it's proving a bit stressful.......

Goa is great for a christmas break, though a lot of accomadation will be already booked, check out the accomadation/ hotel thread on this site and HERE

As I said I am travelling with my 2 daughters (16 & 8). Is Goa a safe and fun place for kids as well?

Yes, at that time of year your kids will be fine, the only thing I would suggest would perhaps a holiday type hotel in the calangute / candolim area with a pool etc might be more suitable.
Theres probably a couple of threads you can search out about taking kids to India/Goa,,,,,,,,,,,,
