Cheapest way to ship things home from Goa?

Would it be best to go to the Post Office, or what other options are there?

Yes, in most cases, and the per kilo rates are reasonable. Siolim post office has a good reputation and many reps from tourist-ville bring stuff up there to post. However, like so many cases they staff are very rude and ignorant.
If the items are of high value, DHL is safer and easy to use here.

I have had items shipped by both the post office and DHL, all items arrived intact. Including a nest of coffee tables.

does anyone have actual prices?
after I sell the big items, I still have a couple of hundred kilos of personal things left.
What about air freight?
