Cheap monthly room/shack?
I'm going to India for 6 months or a year to work on a software demo in late Feb/early March. Be going to Bangalore a bit, but Goa sounds like a wonderful place to live. Why not code from the beach? I'm wondering approximately how much a room with a toilet that isn't of the "pig" variety is gonna cost me by the month? Shower doesn't have to be warm, but would be nice. Emphasis on cheap. I'd like to be able to leave my iBook in the place... not sure about that.
Info? I know it varies alot with season, but since I'm there to work mostly (and unwind in the evenings ) and will be there a while, I can avoid the peak season. I just wanna know about how much to expect to spend on a month's rent if I shop around a bit. |

Expect to pay about 5000/month. If you need help I can hook you up.

Thats doable. I may just take you up on your offer
How often are houses burgled? Its me and my computer... and if I lost it, my ability to work would be lost. I can't afford to replace it. But I'd rather not ALWAYS bring it with me. |
