Hello
i dont think there are any direct fights to goa on the dates you mention but jewel in the crown fly out on the 2nd and 3rd jan. 14 nights advertised flight only for about £600. otherwise you can travel via mumbai cheaper but not from manchester. Good luck |

Only the charters fly direct to Goa and 28 nights is usually the maximum duration. From Manchester you will have to go via London, Sri Lanka or the Middle East to Mumbai and then get an internal flight. Etihad usually have good prices but their flight arrives in Mumbai at 3pm which coincides with the last flight of the day to Goa so incurs an overnight stay. Try Etihad, BA, Virgin, Jet Airways and Sri Lankan. Finnair had good prices but I haven't looked at their website recently.

If you try www.Travelrepublic.co.uk they sell direct to Goa charter flight seats. Prices differ for each period. I have used them in the past they seem quite good.

Im looking for a 2 week charter flight into Goa, december or january, but much more expensive than i thought.
I know fuel is up, but i thought about £400 would be enough??. What is going on, they say tourists are down, but most flights above £650. I will wait.

apparently it is unlikely that fares will drop as some flights have been consolidated according to another forum, and this information came from two pilots who fly charter. This is one on of the reasons we booked with FINNAIR £310. Hope you get a good deal by waiting and we may bump into each other in january 09

flights
I paid over £600 for both my flights last season. I can no longer go from Birmingham this year so have booked from Gatwick and had my flight in March cancelled! Now going 2 days later but that could be a problem getting back home with the landing time.

My friend is trying to book a charter from Leeds or Manchester and is having no luck or its a stupid price. I am trying to talk her into going by scheduled as its only coming up as £344 to Bombay return from Heathrow then she has to add on about £100 return from Bombay to Goa then a return from Leeds to Heathrow but it still works out at cheaper than the charter flight .

These prices for overcramped, expensive drinks, awful food, change of dates ETC, charter flights.
They were OK, when they were around £300 to £350 but £600 plus, Yes another nail in Goas coffin. Sad but true??. ![]() |

As others have said, it's then a matter of buying another ticket (air or train) from Mumbai to Goa. |

Try one-way flight into Mumbai, and then buy your return in India... works out loads cheaper that way... Good luck!
