Can i find trance party in Anjuna in February?

Yes, i know the Goa trance scene is not the same and almost dead, im about 10 years late, but 10 years ago i didnt shake it to the Hujaboy!
I will be in Anjuna Feb 6th to March 10th and i need to get some trance in me. I know the police made it difficult, but there MUST be something! people must get together under the sky somewhere? How do i look for them?

check out 'Hill Top' in Vagator, its actually between Anjuna & Vagator, they usually have a party every night. Dunno about Trance though, but that would be the 1st clue. Ask around there & perhaps you come to know of some other wild places.

A good place to start would be Curly's, or the shack adjacent to it, Shiva Valley, on the southern end of Anjuna Beach.Around sunset time they shift from chill-out to old style Goa trance. Nine Bar in Vagator would most probably be open too around that time of the year;with music on from 5 pm to 9:30 pm or so.Going by the flyers during this New Years, Club Westend in Saligao seems to be in business this year too.

Hiring a bike taxi from Starco junction, Anjuna would be an easy way to get to these shacks/clubs.

Curlies and Shiva were banging it out most nights over Xmas. I was at a party till 8am on Jan 4th at Shiva. Westend is also open 500 rupees to get in with a free drink if i recall.

Its all in the clubs. Should i leave my hope to party at the open air? Is it gone for good? Is there anyone who may be doing it in secret?
Cant believe i can party on the beach in Toronto but not in Goa!

Can't believe you haven't atleast searched for some party videos shot at these locations on Youtube before concluding that parties in beach shacks take place far away from the beach.

Hope its not the start of another of those 'Wind up chronicle'

But if you party on the beach in Toronto why would you want to do the same in Goa? Aren't holidays all about discovering different experiences? Or are you just hoping the drugs will be cheaper?

It is located in Saligao. Approxomately about 5-6 km from Baga as you go inland on the main road between Calangute and Porvorim take a right turn.

For open air trance party..think 9 bar is the only name i can think about...however its not any kind of sceret party you arelooking for...but good trance music & open air should give you a good feel.

If you are looking for a "secret kind of open air party" i believe you should have an extended stay & befriend the locals...though i havnt been to any, somehow the goan air makes you believe such parties are on..especially around full moon nights.

Hey, I think i might still be in Anjuna, im planning to go to Varanasi at some point but have no dates yet.
If by the time you arrive i find some good parties i will let you know, but dont know how :-)
