calangute to palolem

hi

can anyone tell me how i'd get across goa and how long it takes, many thanks

You casn either take a taxi or the bus. A taxi will cost you about Rs 1200. To catch the bus you will have to go to the main bus station in Panjim and take a bus to Margao and at the Margao bus station you will have to transfer to a bus going to Canacona.

You could also go to the Thivim railway station and go by train to Canacona. From the Canacona railway station you can take a rickshaw to palolem beach.

u get prepaid taxi's from the airport itself..

You could even cycle. About 65+ kms. Some hilly terrain south of Quepem. We did it once. Took about from 6 am to 5 pm (when we reached Cabo de Rama). About the most scenic terrain. Try breaking up your trip, overnight. Not for the faint hearted.

From Calangute you need to go to the Kadamba bus station in Pamjim.
A shuttle to Margao is for Rs 19.
From Margao take another bus headed towasrds Canacona/Palolem.
Fare is Rs 20.
The total distance is 70 km.
It may take all of 2 1/2 hours! But the ride is pleasant across a few hills.
