Calangute, Goa ... accommodation help required.

Hi Friends,

I will be staying in Goa from 29th Dec,2009 to 1st Jan ...

But still I cannot able to manage any accomodation ...

I prefer to stay by the Calangute Beach or nearby to enjoy the Beach Parties during New Year ...

can anyone please help me in finding a nice,safe and cheap accomodation at that area (within Rs.600 to 1000) ... any contact number or info will also help ...

feeling very helpless as this is my first visit there ... need your help ..

Hi sweeetsohini85,

Do not worry about accommodation. You can easily find out a cheap and good place at Calangute. When you reach near the Aclangute circle, just ask near by shop owner, they will tell the phone number of the lodge owner.
I actually have phone numbers of a few lodge owners. Will try to remember and give you as soon as possible.

Hi .,as per my 6 years of experience, i will suggest you Candolim and baga, instead of calangute.

If you are with your family or a fimale traveler then candolim and baga are the best place to stay.
Please tell me how many people are with you then i can suggest you few good hotels. And take my word book as fast as you can, because you won;t find any good place after this month.

It is easier to find good places to stay at Calangute, through out the year. On safer side, book in advance however you also can book a room when you reach there. Finding a room on spot at Calangute is not a big deal. I had done it many a times especially in month of December/January.

I am too visiting baga next week & is looking for accomodation not exceeding Rs 500 per day for a non ac double room.

I am catogerically looking for a place anywhere between the Tito's to the end baga road.

I last stayed at Marina View across La Calypso. There are several guest houses out there. I specifically stayed at the one excatly opposite Lua Nuva. The numbers I have already changed, so cant make reservations.

Anybody here have any update for guest houses in Marina view?

Any other guesthouse / hotels on baga road or near beach in this price segment??

Any recomendations for Hotel Hacienda OR Fatima Villa or Miranda beach or anyother??
