Calangute: Cost of Seafood?

Hi everyone,

just over 1 week til i go to Goa!! i was wondering if some1 could tell me the average price of seafood in Calangute. i will be eating tiger prawns or crab most days (absolutely love seafood) or fish curry and rice. i will probably be eating at the shacks during the day and at a restaurant at night - nowhere fancy!

just want the cost of a general meal per person without the drinks (well---maybe a beer) so i can get a good idea of how much i will need!

Calangute is a tourist hotspot - so the prices are slightly high. Good seafood dishes cost around 250-300 in this area. If you head to some of the FISH HAUNTS in Panaji - the price will drop to almost Rs. 100/-

For a true Goan meal - the indian style - try Anand Ashram - at Panaji.

Happy holidays.
