Tough missing the pool, the best place I found in Calagute was Coco Banana guest house as it is located in a nice and quiet place but is still in walking distance from the beach and from the calangute center.
The owners are also very nice and helpful people and the room was cosy and clean with attached bath and western style toilet and with small kitchen and a fridge. Green and well care taken garden was very nice. The rate was reasonable around 1500 per night. We didnt miss the pool so much as the beach was so near. We also rented a bike to go around to other beaches.
