From there there are very frequent express buses to Panaji, taking one hour. From Panaji bus stand there are regular bus services to Calangute all day, taking around 45 mins. |

Hey, I could very easily be mistaken, but here goes.
Are there 2 bus stations in Madgaon? I'm sure I used one in the centre of madgaon a few years ago, but 2 years ago I went to another bus station that seemed to be away from the centre of town, this place had the non-stop Panjim buses, as one filled up, the next one pulled in. I just jumped on the back of a motorbike taxi to get from Panjim to Calangute (about Rs80). Just a thought.... Have you checked if your train calls at other stations in Goa? (Pernam/Thivim/Karmali)

Another way to reach Baga-Calangute is to take the free ferry from the Panjim jetty and a local bus at the other end. |
