Bike tour of Goa how long top to bottom?

Hi Folks,

I'm planning to take a couple of tours of Goa on a scooter.

The first one will just be for around 3 days then I'll be back for a longer 10 day tour.

I've been looking at quite a few maps and can't seem to find any kind of scale to work out realistic distances, never mind accounting for Goan roads, traffic and unforseen delays.

I was wondering if anyone knows for example how long it would take to get from Palolem to Arambol in a straight run with a lunch stop?

Blimey took me 4 hours to get to Palolem from Baga, on a scooter. And coming back on the same day at night time, it took so many hours,i am to embarrassed to say how long.Its a nightmare the road out of Palolem, its full of pot holes that you cant see at night.Then you got those crazy lorry drivers that dont have lights on.
Would i do it again ? yes .

A stop over is probably a good idea, last thing you need is fatigue after riding pot hole strewn, cattle bearing dusty roads, its an accident waiting to happen Aran
