Best Place in Goa for..
I have a bit of a dilemna here. I'm sorry if this has been posted before but three mates and I are going to Goa during the last week of Feb 2007, and we've never been there before and are wondering what the best beach is. What we want to do is stay in a 5 star resort, hire a motorcycle, have an excellent beach and be close to parties/club/pub to mingle with other tourists/locals. I'm leaning towards Palolem at the moment but I'm wondering if it'll be far from good nightclubs and such? Am I asking for too much? Any suggestions?

Hi NSW
I think you've got it alright Quote:
But most of (happening) beaches in Goa are nearby and its a breeze to drive a bike among them. So just go in there, mingle with other people on the beach, ask around a little during the day and hopefully you'll find the best party of the evening.... and repeat Cheers Anindya

"Where dream and day unite"? That's dream theater isn't it?
Anyway, Just want to get a good idea and suggestions/advice from people soon so I can "familiarise" myself with the place. |

The best clubs are in North Goa. The 5 star resorts are mostly in South Goa. The beaches are good everywhere. If you stay in the northern part of South Goa (Taj Exotica Benaulim, Majorda Beach Resort) you can get taxis to the clubs in under an hour.

You'll need an International driving licence. But you'll also need to learn a lot about the hassle you may get from the police. |
