Best place for single traveller?
Best place for single traveller?
Hi all, what a great site! I just wondered if you could give some advice on where best to go in Goa as a single traveller? Are there any palces to avoid - I'm keen to go somewhere with a bit of life (presume I can always use a scooter to get some peace and quiet if necessary)? Thanks in advance ... (btw am going in one month - Feb 09)
I gather there's a good vibe in the north Goa beaches of Vagator, Arambol, Mandrem etc. You could easily take day trips to the more crowded Anjuna and Baga from there - scooters are easy to hire.
Also spend a few days in Palolem on the south Goa coast - just being on the beach. And sleeping in any of the beach huts that line the beach all along.
