Can anyone give me information about the prices of beer/ liqur brands available in Goa. Per Case price will also do.
It was quite cheap (13-15 Rs.) a big 650ml bottle of beer in 96 when I went there, out of which we used to get 2 Rs. back on return of the bottle. What change in prices is there in these 10 years. We are going Goa in December and wanna plan the budget..... ![]() |

Are you always Mr Angry Josan
Local Whisky rum etc will cost anywhere between 10 and 35 rupees a peg or 30 Ml depending on where you are drinking. Feni can be had for as cheap as 5 rupees a peg. For foreign made Brands like Bacardi expect to pay more, something like 40-70 a peg. A bottle of Local brand whisky rum etc will set you back 100- 150 rupees. Not sure how much a bottle of Bacardi or Scottish Whisky will cost you I never buy it!! |

Latest prices per case of Kings (12 pints) is 170/- per case (plus deposit which is returned on giving the empty bottles back). Kingfisher case (660ml big bottles) is available for 330/- - 350/- (plus deposit of course)
Kings is definately a better choice. One should also try local beer BELLO. I found it a great taste at down to earth price. Case is priced at less than 300/- for 12 Big bottles. Royal Stag Whisky is for 170/-, Royal Challange for 280/-. |

Wow. For Rs60 per Breezer, I wouldn't mind being seen drinking those.
This may sound like a stupid, off topic question. But do the bars in places like Goa/Bombay, have post-mix taps where it includes 'Dry/Ginger'?

A post-mix tap, or gun, is a tap with up to seven liquids flowing out from the press of a button, such as Coke, lemonade, squash, soda, tonic, dry, etc.
By MB I assume Melbourne Bitter? Not very big in Sydney, but my dad has a couple in the fridge. |

What about Diu? Similar prices? Is there good night life there?
I have been thinking about visiting the places for years, but have never got around to it.
