Take a look at:
www.macprofessor.com This will give you a flavour of Agonda ~ one of my most favourite beaches in South Goa and only a short distance from Palolem. |

I would pre-book ~ although Agonda is a nice quiet beach it is becoming increasingly popular. The contact details are on the macprofessor site.
You are guaranteed to enjoy this beautiful place. ![]() |

I never make reservations, but agree with MADABOUTINDIA, because January is high season and it's better to be safe than sorry. But I bet you would find something anyways. Just might take a bit walking.
And I'm skeptical about advance reservations. I imagine that they overcharge if you do it by e-mail. And you can't bargain either. And also if you've never been there, how do you know if it's a nice place and worth the money? Here's one place in Patnem that's good. I highly recommend it. www.homeispatnem.com |
