Beach Trek - Goa

hey im planning to go for a beach trek covering the whole of the goan coastline starting from the northern point to the southern tip of the state.i plan to start walking on any beach which would be to the north of querim beach(does anybody know which one?) to any beach to the south of polem beach.obviously, its not going to be a hardcore trek to reach the destination, but would include overnight stays at the beach huts and chilling at any of the shacks/bars etc, may include watersports n stuff too.
i may avoid the crowded beaches of baga and calangute which fal on the way.
would appreciate lots of suggestions on this though.would like to know how long would it take to cover the coastline and wht i would need to carry along.thanks.

I had done the YHAI (Youth Hostel Association of India) trek in Goa and I have documented it elsewhere:

But YHAI treks are held only from Decemeber to early Jan.

The highlight of our trek was the Majorda and Sancole beach.

Ohhhhhhhhh, It's going to be a long way,
Are you only walking or taking tranport, (buses) in places?
If you're walking on and as near to the beach as possible then theres going to be lots of headlands to climb over, rivers to walk round & lots of inhospitable terrain.
It's not north to south uninterrupted beach & beach shacks,,,,,,, Yet.

Good Luck

Anjuna is a great beach. But what with the tremendous influx of tourists there, muggings have been on the rise. As have cases of a couple of rapes a few years back.

Also, there exists a drug problem there; it only adds to the crime scene.

aholic_2907, instead of trekking I would recommend cycling from North to South. You can get some useful hints from here http://www.cyclegoa.com/goa-a-paradise.htm

I found Hansa beach very secluded but we were trekking with YHAI and this beach is quite close to the naval area, we had a permit arranged through YHAI but I am not sure if it was for the beach or for crossing the naval area checkpoint later.
