Beach Huts
can you recommend good beach huts with attached bathroom?
We (me and my wife) want to spend some time on quiet/scenic beaches. How are colva/Benaulim? I dont wanna go all the way down to palolem (heard there are dogs and its crowded too) Or mandrem/Morjim up north better? |

can anybody recommend good beach huts on Benaulim beach?
Please give their phone numbers/website if available. If there are none in benaulim, maybe in varca or colva. |

ok. replying to my own thread again!
I finally went to palolem instead as it was more scenic than benaulim and also lots of beach huts there. I am very very glad i made that decision! The place is so beautiful. Took lots of photos. |

Beach Huts: Palolem
There are basically 2 types ... ones that are made out of bamboo poles, thatched-roofs. These are generally 400rs. The others are a little stronger and more roomy with a wooden-cabin style construction. These are 800rs.
I was there for only one night, so stayed at a small place called "Big bananas". They were ok. They had these 400rs type huts. If you want more comfort/can afford more .. go for the 800rs ones. "Bridge & Tunnel" are good but you might have to climb a few steep steps to go to the main beach. Also "kate's bar & restaurant" had nice huts. "Hi-Tide coco-huts" also was popular I heard. Take ones that have attached toilet and shower. Last edited by neotraveller : Mar 25th, 2008 at 18:52. Reason: making the title more relevant |
