Bars on Palolem Beach

Hello,

Was just wondering if anyone could help me, I am travelling to Palolem in November with my Partner and just wondered if there were any bars around that area that open later than 11 where you can sit and have a drink

Also am staying in the Palolem beach resort has anyone else stayed there.

yep stayed there twice last season,
once in the tents and once in the apts.
not bad , its not very big but its ok .
the bar/resteraunt was nice , the food was good and the staff helpful but closes a bit early .
plenty of other places though , loads of beach shacks etc .
have a nice stay

I was there two years ago. A couple of places have open-air type restaurant/bars. They might wind up service at around 12, but if you order sufficiently in advance, you can stay on there for the whole night. I think the place I was there is called Fernades' or something, can't recall. We stayed up till 2 on the only day we were there. And yes, its a beautiful place.

most places open late out of season. It appears that if there are enough people there they will stay open till whenever. I remember drinking till late in the morning and having to wake up the barman everytime I wanted a drink. He did'nt seem to mind though. The most lively spots are probably Cafe del mar and..... damn forgotten its name but its a bit more northern, fronting the beach. As a rule of thumb the nearer the beach the more chance of staying open, although there are exceptions. Look out for goan trance parties, hosted by.... damn forgotten his name as well, I was'nt that sober for my stay in Palolem, anyway this indian guy who is married to this english dj throws parties in columb, can be interesting as long as the cops dont constantly raid it like one time I was there, but thats a different story. In short dont worry you will be able to get a drink.
