Hi zapraswamy
Welcome to IndiaMike - a great place to share ideas and information. Hope you get your Bangalore bike group together. Sounds interesting, but unfortunately I'm not heading that direction ! |

Wait, wait. I am on the verge of buying an Enticer.
and before you sniker, let me clarify that it is only for the simple reason that my feet won't touch the ground in any other bike. ![]() |

hey, thanks Avid Trekker for the advise.
I will definitely check out the Avenger. My reasons for enticer are: looks good height is low weight is light price is less than other cruiser type looking bikes I agree that the Avenger is a much better bike. But does it serve my purpose? I would love to have an Enfield but I cannot hold it's weight to save my life. Is the Avenger light? I am guessing not. Can you tell me? Vinay, at last! Such a long time. Where have you been? Cycle? well, i am sure some people can, but i can't go cruising around Rajasthan in a Cycle, can I? Nor can i go to office everyday in my cycle. I know, i know, technically it is possible, but it's not for me. Why do I want a bike? Well, my hubby dear is proving to be an extremely unreliable chauffeur even as I count my grey hairs with each passing day. ![]() I am trying to be a little less of the nagging wife, you see. And of course, I have always desired a bike... well, lusted after them, if you must know. ![]() |

Natasha congrats. But be very careful, I have seen the recent traffic situation in Bangalore. Two wheel rideres are at great risk.
I think wives have some things in common. I am a lousy driver when I am in hurry because I am driving too fast, I am a lousy driver when SHE is in hurry as I am driving too slow & I am bumping in to red lights quite purposely. Between us I am expecting atleast 2 challans for my last night's reckless driving. |

Hey All,
By all means, I will be all up for a bicycle ride in/around Bangalore. But, can anyone suggest any place I can rent/buy used bike from, if I only have 2 more months in Bangalore, and don't have a bike already? Thanks Arvind |
