Ayurveda near Palolem?

Hi,

I'm staying in Agonda, and I came accross a so called " Aurvedic clinic" on the road between Palolem/Canacona to Agonda. I gave it a try, but it was more of a disappointement. The man there doesn't speak English, and the expensive rates are unjustified, given he got no training nor any diploma. His young daughter helps him, and she told me she just completed her 1st year of Ayurveda College in Trivandrum.

I feel the whole thing is cheaty, and I would love to find a "real" Ayurveda doctor, so as to pursue some treatment. Anyone has a recommendation?

I found a Ayurveda doctor who was amazing but that was in Old Manali, which is quite far from where you are in India but i went back several times and when it came to paying them he said how ever much you can afford.. It was beautiful and it was a great help having these treatments!!!!!!

Peace, Love n Music xxxxxxxx

I found a guy in Palolem. Walk north on the beach until you get to hut area called ???-Tree. There is a sign that point in lands to a small cottage.

If he is not at the cottage look for him just under the big tree, normally he hangs out there in the shadow.

He did wonders for me after I had broken my tail bone.

Or in Baga there is a great place - its a bit more formal and again not necessarily cheap but had the full massage and hot oil etc and was fantastic. Its on the left as walking down just before get to Baga, green building might be school of, cant remember but they also do yoga there at 4am which was great.....

talk to people get recommendations of places....
