Atm
hello,
I'm little confused. I met with my travel agency rep (they are new in this business) and she was sure that there is ATM in Panijm but was not sure about Calangute. I planned to use Visa credit card when in the need of cash, now I'm unsure. Please tell how is the situation in Calangute area with ATM? Thank you in advance, mustlane |

yes, i can confirm that there is at least 1 atm in Calangute and probably a good few in Panijm, I used them in Nov & Dec without any problems.
I wouldn't worry about it in the slightest, you can get cash in loads of places. Quote:

There are several ATM's in Calangute, God knows how many in Panjim, and there are some in Mapusa. Don't worry about it. You'll be fine. The only problem I ever had in Goa was when the ATM in Siolim ran out of money.

No harm in also carrying some dollars as well though & you can easily change them in loads of places. |

There are at least 10 different ATMs in Calangute.
