We have been in Goa (calangute area) since oct 2006 and are hoping to stay on back to back tourist visas and have just heard of an article in the Mail on sunday in the uk that the indian consulate are now stopping this has anyone any information on this as we have just furnishised an apartment on rental and are getting a little worried. We are due to go back to england in march and are worried about our new visa

Why shouldn't you get another tourist visa. They want to stop anyone doing more than the 183 days. You can't buy on a tourist visa.
