Arriving In Goa
Hiya.
Can anyone give me any info on how easy it is to get from Thivim (where the train stops) to Baga, or Calugante or Vagator, where we'd ideally like to start out from? We'll be arriving there are about 17.50 - presuambly there are buses / taxis and the like? Cheers! |

travel from mapusa
Itll takes around an hr from thivim railway station to calangute. Mode of travel wont be an issue coz ull find a lot of taxis/rickshaws outside the station. But these guys would probably charge you a bomb!!!(probably anywhere around rs. 200-500...charges vary from individual to individual)
Cheaper would be a local bus which you can catch outside thivim station to mapusa bus station..(will cost around rs 15-20).From mapusa you can get a lot of buses going to calangute/baga/anjuna (will cost u around Rs.10-15)Rickshaws from mapusa would cost around rs 100 to calangut/baga from mapusa. Preferably staying at calangute/baga would be a better option coz its more comercialised & lots of hotels would be available. Enjoy ur vacation!!! |
