Apartments for rent - Colva/Benelauim Does anyone know of any relatively nice apartments for rent immediately in Colva or Benelauim, quite central, quite near sea, with AC and hot water for approx 15000 RUR/month? possibly more if there was a pool involved and the apartment was nice? GoanCanuck, I am particularly hoping for a reply from you as you mentioned a little while ago on this board in response to an earlier post from me that you did know of some but responses much appreciated from all. Am here now in Margao so looking for immediate availability. thanks a lot

Hi puffin, if you scroll to the bottom of the page you will see 4-5 threads listed. These threads would have subject matter similar to the question you are asking...please take a look through them in the meanwhile and u might find what you are looking for there itself.

Puffin26, I'm not nearly as knowledgeable as the Goans in this forum. Just meant to say that when I was in Benaulim last November there were plenty of apartments for rent in the price bracket you suggest. Just walk on the main street leading to the beach and look at buildings on either side : you'll see boards advertising rentals. The rent might even be a little cheaper if you try parallel streets. I know you want "central", but Benaulim is so tiny most everywhere is central. It's a 5 - 10 mn walk away from the beach (20 seconds by rickshaw, maybe 2 mn on bike). Didn't see any pools in those places, but the sea is so close I wouldn't care. And I wouldn't bank on permanent hot water, given the frequent power failures. Also, rental adverts are posted on streetposts on the roadside on the road to the beach. Since you are in Margao now I'd suggest you drop by. (Bus in Margao market, stop at Maria Hall).
