Hey, I apologise in advance if this is the 1000th time someone is asking about nightlife in goa! I'll try to be a bit more specific. I've booked a hoilday to Goa for mid october and want to plan a birthday pary for my brother and friends. So i want the venue to be 'happening!' as they say! Could you name the top nightclubs in North Goa which play Hip Hop & Rnb (Fri night). Ive done some reserach and found a lot of them play house and trance! ![]() Thanks guys. I appreciate it. ![]()

If nobody is telling you about "top nightclubs" that play Rhythm and Blues and Hip hop on a Friday night, I'd be wondering whether any of them do. Would you settle for a mediumly good nightclub? ![]() If it's not too late for you to change your thread title, something like "Any Good Nightclubs playing R&B or Hip hop on Friday nights?" would undoubtedly attract more views. The title "Planning a party with friends" doesn't sound like a question; I only clicked on it myself because I suspected that you might be a new member trolling for girls to come to your party!

Mambos and Paradiso do play hip hop and R'n'b but the problem is that Mambos does not have any decent DJ and Paradiso does not have good acoustics. Neither of them is any good.

@ XIMMYX : The lane in Baga that goes down to Zanzi Bar, has Club Mambo's & Tito's, plus this year i saw dozens of such clubs have sprung up. Very sad to see this place. Anyhow, Hip Hop & RnB is all they play. Enjoy !! I see, you too, have been caught in Dubai's Hip-Hop Culture ![]()

LOL no there will be girls there, not worried about that. Thanks mate, I'll try changing my thread. Appreciate your advice. Maybe Mambos is the preferred choice as Tito's will be shut when we arrive. Was trying to search for some clubs/bars like we have in dubai but now appreciate that Goa has a different theme/culture/crowd. Mambos it is! Unless someone can tell me any better place?? Cheers guys. Thanks a lot for your help! | |

@XIMMYX : wherein dxb are you from ?? The reason im asking you this is that, so I can then know what kind of places u might be used to and what to expect from Goa then. Also, the kind of music you're looking for will only be in Baga/Calangute. Ofcourse, Mambo's and Tito's are the most famous ones. But many have sprung up now and I'm not sure of the names, but I remember Hip-Hop/RnB being blasted all over the lane. Cheers !! ![]()

hey smtwl69, I live on the palm, i would normally go out to places such as sanctuary or bars such as blends and caramel. I'm only being specific about where i want to go because i want to stick to my plan on this bday party for my brother. Just want a nice indoor bar/club playing rnb music with a good atmosphere. I am sure we'll experiment with other places the following nights! thanks smtwl69.

@ XIMMYX : alright mate, Palm Jumeirah answers all my questions. Now, as i said earlier, Baga & Calangute are your options. No doubt. That's the closest you can get to the kind of scene you're looking. Keep in mind, this is Goa, so don't expect elite clubbing, etc. like Sanctuary. But you will definitely get Barasti scene, undoubtedly ![]() But don't miss out on the true Goa-Parties as well, else your trip would be incomplete. Cheers !! Enjoy yourself ![]()
