Hi,

we are a group of 6-7, travelling to Goa for the first time. We are planning to be there from 30dec-2 jan.

Can someone suggest where to stay? The budget is modest 1500-2000 per room per night. And if the place is near where the parties will be on new year, it would be great.

Also I have heard contrasting opinions about advance booking. any suggestions?

Finally, would it better to drive around in a car or renting scooters/bikes? Also, what are the approx rates for a bike/scooter rental.

Thanks in advance..

North Goa (Baga/Calangute)

Its always better to book in advance... but you can also book it after reaching.. as it will give you liberty to bargain and location of that hotel.

Best way to travel in Goa is by renting a bike/Scooters/Car.
As you guys r reaching in a peak season, you will get scooters in 300- 500Rs per day and Car 1000-2000Rs per day.

.............................. .............

Thanks in advance..
