Agonda

We stayed in Chattai Agonda for 4 nights this month. The beach is stunning and the chef is really friendly and made us some great food. It's amazing sitting on a sofa on the beach for breakfast and for dinner with little else but good food, yourself, sand and sea. However, be wary of using their drivers. We were charged more than we were quoted by them before we visited for airport pick-up - I gave them the benefit of the doubt and paid up - and we got them to drop us off at the next place we were staying. The taxi boss quoted us a price before we left. When we reached our destination the price had shot up by 300 Rps. This was down to the boss and not the honest driver. Dishonesty like this spoils a beautiful place and good lodgings.

What about the accommodation and charges. More details would be very helpful to future visitors.
