Agonda - Madhu, Om Sai or Palm Beach
Hi,
We are going to Agonda for 11 nights in Feb, and are thinking of these three places to stay. Does anyone have any favourites? As we have children, if any of the huts are quieter that would be good. ie, how loud can the Madhu restaurant be? Also, apparently it is safer to swim at the south end of the beach. I cannot find out where any of these are on the beach. But if anyone knows, that would be useful. Finally, is the sea view just as good from each?! Thanks |

Hi
Good choice agonda if you looking to chill out and relax Will be there in feb myself. All the beach huts will have similar views and mostly priced the same. Have only ever stayed at madhus which is situated in the centre of the beach. It has the best restaurant on the beach in my opinion. If you lucky you may get to see turtles hatching on the beach as we did last year, there is a turtle protection scheme there. Very few shops as such but palolem not far away for more hustle and bustle, nice ride by boat to get there you will usually find a fisherman who will take you if you ask around. Cant wait to return enjoy your time there |

Om sai or Madhu
I stayed at Om Sai last year for 3 days and the experience was great. They don't have a restaurant but next door is Madhu's with it fabulous food! I would suggets you do the same as it may be a notch more quieter at Om sai. However, I traveled in November last year.
The beach is not same to swim at all. Palolem is much better for swimming. Have a great trip. |
