Dear Friends,
my wife and I are visiting Agonda for eight weeks arriving 1st December 09.Though the beach huts look great we would prefer somthing a little more substantial and more suitable for a longer period. Are there houses to rent just behind the beach within easy reach of the restaurants.
Thank you

Madhu Beach Huts
Monsoon Beach Huts

The time that you are going to Goa, December, after the 15th the rates go up to double the normal for the New Year Celebrations.

People normally give a discount if you are staying there for a longer period of time.

Are there any houses for rent there? 1-2 bedroom, with kitchen, shower, toilet?

Agonda isnt your average Goa beach! So if you hunt in earnest you should be able to strike a nice deal!

Tricksum - Almost everything in Agonda is within walking distance to the restaurants and shacks - its a tiny place.

Not really true as Agonda beach is a pretty long beach, about 3 km. long. Most restaurants are on the north end, so if you stay more south, you'll have to walk a bit to get to the better and more popular places.

Well I generally consider a radius of 5kms as walking distance in the plains, my sincere apologies.
