Accommodation in Arambol?

Hi
We are plannig on going to Arambol at the end of the moth and i have been trying to book a place in advance, to avoid being disappointed when we get there.

But i can't seem to get thru to any of them?

I have tried calling Ivons and Priya, they both sound like a good base, as well as Gods gift. i have read thru previous threads and checked google search.

Does anybody have any uptodate Contact details? phone numbers or email address?

Should i have a place prebooked? or is this early enough in the season not to worry? we get to the airport around 1pm, so i guess we would arrive around 4pm?? am totally guessing? have no real concept of how long the drive would be?

Also am I even dialing the right numbers?

Is it still the monsoon season and could they be closed?

Also if any one has a good place to reccomend would be really appricatied.
Looking for basic, en-suit, and clean, safe and friendly.

No need to book - end of October Arambol will be virtually empty. Turn up and ask around - there must be 100 or more guesthouses.

If you are Ok with very basic accom, you could ask for Manjunath's guesthouse - family run, about 300 rupees.

Managed to book a place else where and will travel to arambol later and play it by ear.
