15 - 22 August in Goa Hey! we are in Goa for a week from 15 - 22 aug and staying in cavellosim. Need to know how the weather is during that time. Does it rain bad? Are all beach shacks closed? Is the beach worth visitin/sitting around? What are the good places to eat around in that part? Thanks!

There will be rainfall during the period that you will be in Cavelossim. The beach shacks will be closed and there will be hardly any tourists. The beach is not worth going to at this time of the year and swimming in the sea would be the most stupid thing to do.

The main tourist season doesn't start till the end of October. The weather at the end of September should not be too bad,but there will next to nothing open at that time of year. John

Nobody can predict the weather, period. I have been 3 times in August, great twice and lousy once. You roll the dice in a marginal period..
