We are planning on a treking trip to Uttarakhand. The choice considered is Har ki Dun or Pindari glacier. This around end May and for 10/12 days.
Would appreciate very much for advise on:
Would it be better going though KVMN on a pcakage plan or play it by the ear from the starting point.
How strenous is the trek.
The weather may not be that severe in May???
Are there home stays along the way and can it be done in advance.
Can guides and porers be hired before getting there.Possible some experienced traveller could give us the details.

thanks

-> Pindari glacier route(after Dewali) was washed away in last year flood. Ask for latest information.

-> In package plan you loose your freedom and it is expensive.

-> Easy, tea house trekking.

-> May not be......

-> For pindari KMVN for HKD GMVN
Can guides and porers be hired before getting there.
-> Porters are sufficient and can be hired on the spot.
