Tripcrafters?
Tripcrafters?
In the last hour or so a really intrusive advert for Tripcrafters has started appearing where the "Similar threads" used to appear on the right hand side of the screen. Is this with IM approval? If so - is it compulsory?

I haven't seen that. I wonder how many people are getting that.
Edit - It just now popped up for me for the first time. Wow, that is annoying.

Another reason to change the "Similar Threads" to the bottom of the screen.

In case anybody was wondering this is what you get when you fill in the Tripcrafters form.
to me.
Nadreg - sorry if this causes you problems. I realise that the bills have to be paid but this reads like forum endorsement of a website run by hustlers.

Don't know if this will help....
I never have that right hand side panel showing, I turned it off.
However, the font size in the threads keeps changing from normal to small, I can re-load the page and the font size may go back to normal, not always though.

Please look at this thread, even if you are not in India.: Have you seen Jonathan Spollen?

I've blocked away this right-column thing long ago and see no immediate way to get it back, and besides I block most ads here. So little to comment. What Dave reports just now about that gang of course doesn't sound all that cool.

(I do suppose one good counter-argument would be none not in the know will be likely to find them at bottom. I mostly forget to look at them myself or so to direct others to there, even though they may often hold the possible answer to a given question.)

Ah, so that explains it. I was just having some %^$ with that, thinking it was at my end.I've blocked away this right-column thing long ago and see no immediate way to get it back, and besides I block most ads here. Indeed, and where they always were, and still are. It also causes confusion btw: You see a lot of advice these days going "See threads at right-hand side of screen." I imagine people who have blocked that away will be going like, Huh?

The font issue should be fixed by now. Are you still having issues?

This is a relationship I'm exploring with a prospective travel partner. They're new, but they are well regarded, so I'm giving it a shot. This was the quickest way to get some feedback about what level of integration and type of creative will work. More tweaking will come, most assuredly. I don't think it's going to make the IMs elves redundant at all! The offering is very different.

Almost sounds like they're doing you a favor, then the hard sell phone calls.I followed a link a while back for a 'Itinerary expert', I had to fill out a form and then something like 8 expert companies would get back to me via email with their suggested itineraries, so I sent details of a perfectly feasible Itinerary, all doable, but I included some of the problem travel destinations (Hampi & Ajanta) to add to (arrive) Mumbai, Goa & Kerala, 3 weeks total, departing from Kochi.
All very doable, but only 3 replied, and none of the suggested Itineraries included Ajanta or Hampi.
With most of these 'experts', they look for their closest set Itineraries and try to sell you it.
