Site Issues Notification Thread

Thanks mach.Well that explains why I didn't understand half of what Chahal said, while the other half was simply muddy. Regardless, what I said is true of our set-up and we couldn't get to a home page for much of this afternoon.

Seems OK here. But, have been off-site more than on it, too, since those posts.
I was unable to reach the site at all over the last hour or so. I had logged on about an hour ago then unable to get the home page or any other page and could not even reach IndiaMike to log off. Now it is working again. It might be a problem with my internet connection. We had our phone repaired today; they are now playing with the internet.

I've been on and off here for a couple of hours without any problems so unfortunately it looks like it's your connection...but hopefully they've repaired it now
India blogs: monsoon meandering (2011) and big cats & holy ghats (2009)

Site being hiccupy here, for the past hour or so. Slow to respond; I've not had any real time-outs yet.
Whose side it's on impossible to say as always. I think my connection is otherwise doing OK.

ps Site really dragging now, though still no time-outs.
Notably the "like" buttons seem to take forever to load, but that could be because they're the last on a page to load?
Featured articles on top of the home page not appearing at all. Something is certainly not working like it should.
But so generally, site really slow to respond to any requests, and so for any pages to load at all or in full, etc. It seems to go by increments, too, sometimes nearly OK, then the next few site requests just stalling. I guess it may take a while yet till Nadreg wake-up time
and if not doing other things as well he should, but just keeping you posted.

Yes, me too. IndiaMike is particularly sluggish. Other sites are working fine.
