secret signs? aka Get your IndiaMike T-shirts here!

Ok, so I am leaving for India in just a couple of days. I want to know if there is some sort of secret sign that Indiamike Forum users have to recognize each other while on the road.....

Diane
ok, I confess...I may have too much time on my hand today.

Well, I can assure you that if you post your photo here, someone will recognize you... especiallly if you log on once in a while and let folks know where you are heading. I

I was just about to leave a cybercafe in Puri and someone walked up to me and said "aren't you Wonderwoman?" It was Isabelle, who recognized me from my photo.

Not long before that, I'd received an email from another IndiaMike member, who had seen that I was visiting Puri that week. He and hiw wife were there on holiday and we met for lunch after a phone call or two.

So, where's your photo? And your itinerary?

proud member of indiamike cult

Hi, Diane, if you travel with your pooch you'll get a lot of attention. But keep him off the streets of Mumbai.

Here's an attempt at an indiamike sign. When you meet people who seem kewl enough to be indiamikers, flash them the IM sign with your fingers:

Very creative...and if you turn it over, you have a message for the current U.S. president.

We encourage Public Flashing aka Mardi Gras Style

Oh and if your going to Delhi the ladies should watch out for this guy, he should still be in Delhi at the time of your arrival. I think in room 207 in the RAK International. He's always up to no good.

sorry Colin you knew it was coming

Yeah Somebody could have a T-shirt screen printed in India, bring back 100 or so in a suitcase to sell to forum members. And the profit could go to Mike for his site.

I like the Mardi Gras idea

Seriously though I have jotted down some ideas and have a free Saturday night (big social life I know) plus two liters of white wine to help with the creativity and plan on working on them.

I suggest bandana (aka "buff") or a hat e.g. something one could wear every day. Most people won't want to wear the same shirt every day.

I think the shirt is a great idea. If you don't want to wear the same one every day, then buy 2 or 3. They can come in various colors. I think that it is a fantastic to give Mike the profits to help with the site. I don't mind paying an extra premium on top of the regular selling price to help Mike out. This is definitely a win-win situation all around. No losers here.

I am a terrible artist. So if it's possible, can someone come up with three or four designs/colors and lets vote on them. I personally lile a plain golf shirt with an Indiamike emblem on the left upper chest area. Any other suggestions? Every journey starts with a small step.
