How to disable e-mail notification for new messages on a thread

I'm stumped. How do I turn off IM to send me notification e-mails if new messages are posted to threads I've posted on. I looked through the profile options and did not manage to locate appropriate flags. I do not wish to disable PM notification - given that I do not get any

if you go to userCP and then list subscriptions, you can delete notifications.
Please look at this thread:MISSING. Have you seen Jonathan Spollen?

Go to
"Quick Links -> Edit Options" and you will find a
"Default Thread Subscription Mode", change it to whatever you want.

I don't see "edit options" under Quick links. Where is it??
