Mike is no longer on IM....I mean he might be here, but under different alias...but for us Mike is gone.. The current owner goes by ID of 'nadreg'... |

Mike retired about 18 months ago, and hasn't been back...since then, Nadreg has been running things...
There used to be an 'about' link on the home page, but I can't find it now, it told how the site got started, and how it developed... |

Yeah, if I remember correctly IndiaMike was actually from New Joisey, and one day I think he had just enough. Rumour has it he is living in a lighthouse.

It's right down the bottom of the page and links here.
You can look at the members list (under Quick Links) and click the headings to sort by date, by number of posts, as well as by name. You can see that quite a few of those who founded the site back in 2001 are still here. To some of those who are not, is still owed the credit of getting it rolling and contributing good stuff. And don't be fooled by a postcount of over 18,000: it just means that my online persona is very chatty, and that I've repeated myself many times. Much of the real gold on this site is contributed by members with far fewer posts than me. Not active as moderators at the current time, due to other commitments, people like Rab and Steven_Ber are the guys who have made this site what it is. Well... hey! I guess all our members make it what it is! Even including the ones that never get past the first post... We even have quite a number of members who never post at all --- we were deluged with complaints when we thought it was a good idea to 'tidy up' some apparently unused accounts  Quote:
