Smart way to download all info from a thread?
Usually when planning a trip I cut and paste threads that are of particular interest into Word, then delete the bits that I don't need and create a personalised 'guide book' for myself.
But this time we are going to Hampi and thre is so much great info in the thread that beach started and that now has over 170 posts that I wondered if there is (or could be in future) any way to capture a whole thread in one go without going through each page? |

No, but you can make each page longer by changing the default in your User Control Panel.
You might like to try Thread Tools -->Show Printable Version although you still only get one page at a time |

What you could do is hit the multi-quote tag of each post you want to have (the blue & white " tag at bottom right of each post -- they mention "Multi-quote this message" if you hover your mouse over them, and they will turn red when you hit them -- to the right of the red "quote" button/tag; this is meant for quoting several posts at once in a reply); now hit the "reply" button. (And don't worry, those posts will remain tagged even though you scroll along through several pages of a thread, or even between several threads.)
This will give you everything you wanted to have (including layout codes, but oh well; you could edit those out later if so desired) in your reply box. You can copy-paste this into a text editor. Of course, this way you won't have very neat divisions between posts, but you can normally discern the beginning and end of each one, so with a little editing you could render it more legible to yourself later.
