Recommended destinations

Hi all,

Can you please recommend India travel destinations based on the month of the year? I'm putting together a module that will suggest possible India destinations for newbies. It'll be a sort of "recommended by IndiaMike.com travelers" section.

Thanks!!

in October. Rains have gone. Skies are clear. Temps are down. Amazing sunrises in that recently clarified air.

Good idea. I think if we got a calender showing all 12 months and all days within each month we could put it on IM. Then people can give their input right on the calender and you can be the monitor/editor to move things around if there are so disagreements.

Is there a program with a calender that we can type info? Just like one would have on the wall.

Cheers

Mumbai: Best time to come is from October to March. From March till May it gets too hot and from June to September it rains cats and dogs in the monsoon season.

Cheers,
Aadil.

Spend March or April in the Andaman islands.

It's too hot on the mainland, the weather is perfect, and the tourist numbers are down from their December/January peak.

There's no program as such, but I'm going to put something together.

You'll need hundreds of replies to make it worthwhile.

Goa in October is good, few tourists, great temperature and little rain, everything is still green from the rain and the touts are still half asleep.

HOWEVER, Others would recommend December for Goa, loads of people/party's, great temperature and no rain, the touts are a problem, but the alcohol helps to block them out.

Others would recommend March/April for Goa, few tourists, no rain and the heat isn't too much to handle, nothing is green anymore, but the touts are too fat to chase you down the road.

That's the problem, it's never straight forward and everyone has a whole bunch of reasons why a certain time of year is best for a certain place.

On the contrary, this should facilitate a prospective visitor in deciding which time of the year suits his liking for the visit so long as the posters give good reasons for visiting certain place for different time slots .
