| Photos Vanished Surprised to found that one member (Vishant) has deleted his entire photo gallery . Most of his photos (mostly from ladakh ) were excellent & rated very high by the members. Dont know why he has deleted all these beautiful snaps . The photo gallery comment section is showing the comments only , without photos. Just curious to know the reason. Noticed that the photos have been withdrawn/deleted after a comment { "Are these scanned postcards?" } made by a member oldhippie dt.17th Aug, 2005 ; time 07:32 . May be this is just a coincidence.

| They were removed for copyright infringement. Again, a reminder for users, if you didn't take the photos please do not add them. Instances like these cause a lot of problems since I get the angry letters about them. |

| I know I can be a little naive but if this person was posting other people's material that's disturbing. I'm pretty sure this was one of those galleries where I was gonna ask for a little more background information to the pics -- I guess now we know why it was missing.

| Makes me think that I should download the photos in my "favorites" gallery, in case their owners decide to remove them. I'm at the upper limit for my own disc space here, and have to delete to add more material, so it's not just people with copyright issues who remove their pics. . . .
