Photos of the Month- Where Did Mine Disappeared Mid Way of the Month?

In July when I looked at the photos of the month, I was quite happy to a picture of mine (Dhankar Lake) included, featuring second from the top. Mid way (now July 13th) it has vanished from the list

Is it common to change pictures mid way? Who selects them? Just curious to understand why it happened. I am sure there is a logical explanation to it.

Hi there... I'll take a look at the SQL that picks the photos. It is purely based on how many votes the images get over a certain time period. It's possible there's a bug in there, which might be causing the swap in mid-month of the images.

I'll take a look and get back to you shortly.

OK. I found the bug in the code. The bug resulted in the original selections changing during the course of the month.

The good news is that the bug in code has been fixed. The bad news is that the pics got reset to the original ones that were shown at the beginning of the month. So, my apologies to the folks whose pics were swapped in during the last few days.

Sorry for the confusion.

Nadreg, thanks for taking all the trouble. But I think the top most picture (that looks like a painting of a lady) was not there originally, if I remember correctly! Mine is back though
