Latest Photos Module on Homepage

Hi All,

I've added a "random" link to the photos module on the homepage, which replaces the latest photos with random images from the last 7 days. I hope this will give better visibility to the recently posted images.

Can a user de-host one of his photos ? I have 2-3 photos, which I want to delete from Indiamike.

You can I think yes; there's an edit function on those pics (it may tell you it's for admins, but it's accessible to you for your own pics), I'm pretty sure you can just delete them there.

btw Nadreg, does that mean that in the Galleries, too, "Recent Photos" have now been randomized? I agree with the thought as such, but I think many of us will want to see what has been newly added.

* Edit: Oh I see now, it's just a link you can click to randomize them. Yes, good idea, probably.

I can see only these options:

MY PHOTOS · MY FAVORITES . HOME · SEARCH · PROFILE · UPLOAD PHOTOS

Are you sure that delete function is available to normal users too ?

Am I missing something ?

Just underneath your individual photos (so once you've clicked on those to actually view them. It's under "Additional Info" there), you will find the options:

Quote:

Admin Options
Edit Photo · Close Comments

Click "edit photo" here, and do what you want with them

This is also where you can rotate them, change the info you provided with them, etc. (move to more appropriate gallery; replace by better resolution; and so on).

Again: It's on a per-photo basis though, so you need to actually click on them to view them to arrive here.

Mach, I made the same mistake. It is not at all obvious.

Got it !

The mistake I was making was looking for edit/delete button at gallery view itself.
