Kids forum...
I wonder if IndiaMike admin people have considered setting up a forum along the lines of 'Kids come too'... The questions that parents have are often relevant whereever people are going in India... but are very specific to being parents.Does that make sense?
Just an idea... mrs4 |

I'm guessing you mean an entire forum, just about issues for travelers with children? If people agree that this is a good idea, I can create one.

What would be good would be to have a search page that you could generate a RSS/Atom feed from. That way I could subscribe to a search of all articles with 'kids' or 'children' in and get notified, then I might be able to offer help, once I've actually been to India with my kids that is ![]() |

sure...in fact if there is enough content which can be generated ..maybe it could be in India Basis itself as a sub forum rather than just a post in a sub forum...

I was thinking along the lines of a sub-forum in India Basics. I have been thinking of posting various messages that might be useful for people coming to India with kids .. but not sure where to put them. (MAny are more relevant to people coming to live, but not nec';ly... and when I put up a post about Schools (in 'You are not alone') it went completely off-topic into a major debate about different methods of education. As a result anyone who wants to read about what the post was intended has to wade through pages of debate. (WOuld you be able to move messages into a newly created sub-forum?)

I think one would be great!! Lots of topics to be discussed such as feeding, traveling, safety etc etc.
I received a very rude reply today on one of my threads regarding a baby on a train - this could be avoided if there was a subsection for kids, as only those interested or with valuable input would go on there! ![]() |
